February 27/March 1—Metadata and Omeka

Midterm Group Podcast Proposal Due–March 1 at 9:00 am. Please turn in one hard copy for each group’s proposal.

  • Proposal should identify what subject your group has decided to cover for the podcast
  • As a group, you should identify a preliminary bibliography for you topic in Chicago Manual Style.
  • Have a preliminary schedule to completion for your March 22 deadline. How do you plan to break up the research, writing, and recording? Keep in mind that every person in the group has to participate and the workload should be equal.

Using your Omeka.net account, create a collection consisting of at least 5 objects. This can be on any topic you’d like, including your potential final project topic or something from your podcast topic. (Remember you should be thinking about this!) Fill out the metadata for these objects. Post a link to the Omeka.net site on your blog. For an example, check out my Omeka.net website. DUE MARCH 4 BY 5PM
